Supporting Charities

GetTaxi works with a number of non-profit partners. We believe that everyone should be able to wait for a cab in safety, so we are partnering with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust in the effort to reduce violent crime. We are proud that proceeds from our 2012 Cabbie Calendar and other donations are helping citizens feel safer on the streets.

And whenever GetTaxi is benefiting from positive publicity, we’re always on the lookout for ways we can take along for the ride organizations making a positive difference. In 2012 we donated £5,000 to the British Red Cross through our Guinness World Record breaking ‘It’s on the Meter’ campaign.

Expanding Access

At GetTaxi we love how new technology can help make people’s lives a little easier. We’re proud to be working with the Association of the Deaf in Israel. Together we are constantly improving GetTaxi features for those with special needs, and helping spread the word that there is now a way for the hard of hearing to get around more efficiently.
